Hours of Operation

The Edinburgh Early Learning Centre is open from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 5:00pm on Fridays.  We trade for 49 consecutive weeks each year.   The centre is open for normal trading during school holidays, but is closed on public holidays.  Over the Christmas break the centre closes on the Friday approximately one week before Christmas for a period of three weeks. 

Long Day Care:

Mondays to Thursdays                                                        7:30am to 5:30pm

Fridays                                                                             7:30am to 5:00pm

Half day option only available for 3 yr olds                            7:30am to 12:30pm

Transition to School Programme:  (Full Days)

Monday to Friday                                                                9:00am to 3:30pm

(In 2011 Mondays and Fridays are a composite 3- and 4-yr old group and remaining days are for only 4 yr olds)

Out of School Hours Care:

Before school                                                                      7:30am to 8:45am

After school                                                                        3:20pm to close

Vacation Care                                                                     7:30am to close

Because we are both a funded 4 yr old Kindergarten and a Long Day Centre, when your child is booked in for the Kindergarten program, you have the added flexibility of extending your hours beyond the designated session times at no extra cost.
